What Has the Recite Me Team Been Up To?

A busy start to the financial year for the Recite Me team and we are so excited for the year ahead of us! From a trip to the US to Global Accessibility Awareness Day, the Recite Me team has been working hard to get the financial year off to a brilliant start!

Team Visit to the US

At the end of April, some members of the UK team returned from a fantastic visit to the US office in Reston, Virginia.

It was awesome to have the team around one table and meet each other in person. Our recent successes were celebrated and the team discussed new ideas and all of the exciting things on the horizon for Recite Me. It wasn’t all work and no play, the team got to enjoy some food, drinks, and great company!

Global Accessibility Awareness Day

On Thursday the 19th of May, Recite Me celebrated the 11th Global Accessibility Awareness Day.

To mark this occasion we hosted our very own webinar. We were thrilled our event went brilliantly, bringing together people across the globe to raise awareness and learn more about the importance of digital accessibility.

Over 300 people attended and participated in our webinar hosted by our expert panel who shared their experiences, valuable insights, and best practice tips to improve business accessibility.

Martin Robertson, Recite Me UK&I Country Manager was joined by:

Mike Adams, CEO, Purple

  • Sean Allen, Head of Talent Acquisition, Very

  • Lynn Gilmour, Communications Officer, Children in Scotland

Team Trip to the Cinema

On Friday, the 1st of April, the UK team celebrated an amazing finish to the financial year with a trip to the Everyman Cinema, Newcastle, to watch Back to the Future 2.

Everyone sat down with drinks and snacks as Recite Me’s CEO, Ross Linnett announced our brilliant achievements and growth over the past year. Not forgetting, whilst we all rocked our Back to the Future merch!
